Delabole has a range of social, commercial and shopping facilities. Nearby is the town of Camelford and beyond are the towns of Bude, Wadebridge and Launceston. Delabole is close to the stunning North Cornish coast famed for its National Trust cliff scenery, popular family surfing beaches and quaint
former fishing villages. In the other direction the wild open spaces of Bodmin Moor ideal for walking and riding are equally accessible.   The A39 Atlantic Highway is within a few miles and the A30 dual carriageway spine road for Cornwall and Devon accessible via Launceston is some 20 miles distance. West of Delabole Newquay provides a local airport, and east of Launceston Exeter (a further 42 miles) provides intercity rail link, M5 motorway link and international airport.
