SITUATION Set in a desirable no-through road, a short distance from the village centre and beaches, Poldhu enjoys delightful views to the sea and coastline between Trevose Head and Gulland Rock.
 
Trevone has long been one of the most popular bays south of Padstow, renowned for its delightful beaches and scenic walks. Nestling between Padstow and Harlyn there are two entirely different beaches, a sandy one for surfing enthusiasts and families whilst the picturesque rocky beach is perfect for exploring rock pools.
 
The village offers a range of local facilities including beach store, shop and local pub. Around two miles distant is Padstow, internationally renowned as the home of Rick Steins seafood restaurant. Surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this picturesque harbour town boasts a myriad of quaint narrow streets arranged around the harbour together with a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
 
The immediate area offers many other fine sandy beaches including Treyarnon, Harlyn and Constantine together with an extensive selection of water sports. There is a championship golf course at Trevose whilst the Camel Trail links with Wadebridge and is a favourite with cyclists and walkers.
 
The town of Wadebridge is approximately nine miles and there is a mainline railway station at Bodmin Parkway. Newquay Airport is approximately ten miles where there are regular scheduled flights to international and domestic destinations.
