To the rear of the house there are formal gardens split into two main areas. The majority of the garden is laid to lawn with beautiful mature plant borders dotted around the garden. A path gives access from the sitting room door round to the old outside staircase that rises up to Bedroom four, there a main sitting area with slate chippings and a low ornate box hedge. In one part of the garden there is a decorative pond with a large granite water feature and a further sitting area. At the top of the garden there is a large garden shed with electric power and light previously used as a gym but would also be ideal as a home office/kids playroom.

Beyond the main lawned garden there is a vegetable garden where there is a door that comes from the kitchen and there is a further stable door from the utility. There are two raised vegetable patches, an old brick garden store and the oil tank is located behind a wooden arbour.

Outbuildings/Grounds
A large agricultural outbuilding with concrete pillars and corrugated surround. This is a useful dry storage area. Next to this there are two further pole barns in various states of repair, both ideal for boat storage etc. Polgassick Farm has approximately two acres of land which is made up of formal gardens and two paddocks. The paddocks have mature hedging and enjoy delightful rural views. The second paddock has a pole barn. Located next to the paddock is the remains of an old granite piggery.
