SITUATION A delightful three bedroom semi-detached character cottage situated in the heart of the village just a short stroll from all local amenities and within easy reach of open moorland.
Meavy is a picturesque village which has a Church (St Peter's - reputedly of Norman origins), a Church of England Primary School and The Royal Oak Inn, the latter owned by the Parish Council. Yelverton lies just over a mile away to the west. Tavistock Community College is about five miles distant. The community is served by county bus services whilst the A386 Tavistock to Plymouth road provides easy access to the A38.

DESCRIPTION This charming semi-detached character cottage dates back, we understand, to the 17th century and is built in the traditional manner of that time. Steeped in history this property originally housed copper miners and later the village shop. The accommodation is in excellent order throughout and has fine oak floors and wooden beams together with a substantial granite fireplace with woodburner. The deceptively spacious accommodation comprises an open porch, hall, kitchen/breakfast room and large family room comprising a lounge and dining area. Oak stairs lead to the first floor where there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom. Heating is provided by an oil fired central heating system and the windows have hardwood frames. The ground floor has also been networked to meet multi-media needs. ACCOMMODATION There are numerous power points throughout although not individually listed.
