" Formerly known as ´Havelock House´, and completed in 1868 by the locally renowned John Ward, ´8 Havelock Terrace´ is a fabulous and beautifully presented end of terrace Victorian villa. The property has a plethora of original features including a number of magnificent Victorian and marble fireplaces, fascinating and original sash shutters, stripped pine floors and doors, original ornate ceiling roses, coving and, remarkably, the original Lincrusta can be found throughout much of the ground floor. The property has been well maintained and improved in recent years and has gas fired central heating. The kitchen has been superbly modernised and has quality oak fitted units with polished granite work surfaces. There is a movable oak island unit with granite work surfaces which can be repositioned wherever necessary. The spacious accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, of a vestibule entrance with original tiled floor and glazed etched inner door to the hallway, a dining room with dual aspect and magnificent Victorian fireplace feature, a sitting room which also has a marble fireplace feature and views across the rear gardens. There is a superb long kitchen/breakfast room which has oak units, cast iron gas fired burner and uPVC double glazed windows and doors providing views across, and access to the rear gardens.
