" Occupying fabulous walled gardens, is this substantial and imposing four storey Victorian townhouse which was built in about 1840. Situated close to the popular Stoke Village and Stoke Damerel Conservation Area, the property has many character features including Victorian fireplaces, newel post, ceiling roses, coving and picture rails. The accommodation, which is arranged on four levels, comprises a sitting room with a new fireplace and log burner, dining room, 22' kitchen, a utility room and a cloakroom/w.c. on the ground floor, whilst on the upper three floors are seven bedrooms, a study, three bathrooms and a separate w.c. The master bedroom is presently situated on the second floor and has a bathroom and a dressing room with quality range of new luxury fitted wardrobes. The property has been well-maintained and recently sympathetically modernised including the installation of gas fired central heating, a re-tiled tenement roof and recently fabulous new uPVC double glazed sash windows have been fitted. In about 2003, a new luxury 'Moben' kitchen was installed and has granite work surfaces.
