SITUATION: 1 Rose Cottages is situated in the village of Harrowbarrow, which is one of the most desirable villages in the beautiful Tamar Valley, situated just three miles to the east of Callington, 8.5 miles from the market town of Tavistock in west Devon and 17 miles from Plymouth city centre, which is therefore within commuting distance, via the Tamar Bridge at Saltash. Harrowbarrow is a thriving and friendly village, with local facilities including a post office/general stores, primary school of high repute and a village Community Hall. The town of Callington caters for most other day to day needs, with a varied shopping centre and Tesco store, medical centre and senior school. The Tamar Valley is an area of great beauty, and many peaceful walks and stunning views can be enjoyed without venturing far from Harrowbarrow. The National Trust owned Cotehele House and Quay is within two miles of the village. There are also many sporting and recreational facilities in the immediate area, with nearby golf courses at Tavistock and the St Mellion International Golf Resort.

DIRECTIONS: Although perhaps not the most direct route, from Callington take the main Tavistock Road for 2.5 miles, and turn right at Sevenstones, where Harrowbarrow is sign posted. Continue through the hamlet of Rising Sun and at the next "T" junction turn right. Continue into the centre of the village and Rose Cottages will be seen on the left hand side, a For Sale board clearly displayed.

DESCRIPTION:
