SITUATION
Hendra Vale is a favoured residential area within level walking distance of the social, commercial and shopping facilities of Launceston.  At the end of the road is a convenient store/petrol filling station.

Hendra Vale is conveniently located within Launceston to access the A30 spineroad for Cornwall and Devon with a better balance of travel distance to all parts of the counties than any other centre.

In all directions from Launceston are areas of outstanding natural beauty.  To the north the stunning North Cornish coast famed for National Trust cliff scenery, popular family surfing beaches and quaint former fishing villages.  To the west are the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, superb for walking and riding.  To the south are the hidden treasures of the Tamar Valley steeped in 18th century mining history, and to the east Dartmoor National Park.

Exeter (forty two miles) provides intercity rail link, M5 motorway link and international airport.  Plymouth (twenty eight miles) provides intercity rail link and  continental ferry port.
