" A large detached stone and slate barn with detailed planning permission for conversion to a large detached four bedroom house with inverted accommodation, extending in all to approximately 267 square metres (internal), located in the centre of a small rural hamlet in grounds extending to just over half an acre.

The Barn This must be one of the few remaining quality barns for conversion now available and comprises a large double fronted stone L-shaped barn under a natural slate roof extending internally to approximately 267 square metres. Most of the original features are still retained, including large timber floor beams, ?A? frames, granite lintels and bullnose brick surround entrance door and window reveals. The property is being sold with the benefit of the original farmyard, which comprised of modern agricultural buildings (now demolished) and the whole extending to just over 0.543 acres.

Location Trehunist is a small and unspoiled hamlet set in some of South East Cornwall?s finest countryside and the village of Quethiock is approximately 1 mile distant where there is a local school and church. Wider facilities are available at the nearby village of Menheniot including a local supermarket/post office, public house etc and the nearest market town is Liskeard. The village of Tideford, which is situated on the main A38 giving easy commuting access to the city of Plymouth, is within approximately 3 miles via country lanes.

Planning Permission Detailed planning permission was granted by Caradon District Council on 3rd May 2007, for the conversion of the barn into one residential dwelling Application No. 07/0028/Full. Copies of this planning consent and detailed plans can be inspected at the Agent?s Office as above.
