" This cottage is part of the Mount Edgcumbe Estate and is situated in the favoured hamlet of Cremyll on the River Tamar, where there are a few houses, a pub and Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park. A foot passenger ferry operates from Cremyll across the river to Plymouth.

The cottage is mid-terrace and is situated on the opposite side of the road to the waterfront at Cremyll and benefits from an allocated parking space.
