Beautifully presented. Far reaching views. Contemporary interior design. Village edge location. Spacious accommodation. Parking and Garage.
Situation - This delightful home is located on the rural edge of the pretty village of Millbrook located in an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounded by the sea and the stunning Tamar and Lynher estuaries, on the much sort after Rame Peninsula.

The estuaries and creeks that probe into the green hills of Devon and Cornwall`s south coast feature anchorages with a natural charm that is hard to match. Most of these inlets have a strong maritime history and once had active boatyards that have shaped these sleepy backwaters, Millbrook is no exception. Millbrook Lake is the first inlet on the Cornish side of the River Tamar, a pretty creek, only a short ferry ride from Plymouth`s bustling waterfront opposite.

Today this quiet backwater is home to a thriving community with a range of shops, post office, primary school, village hall, doctors surgery and busy boatyard, where traditional wooden yachts and some of the finest modern sailing multi-hulls are hatched. The beautiful Whitsand Bay with long sandy beaches, only two miles away along with famous south west coast path.

The city of Plymouth is easily reached via either the Torpoint Ferry or the Tamar Bridge. The Cremyll Ferry, a regular foot passenger service, runs from Plymouth to Mount Edgecombe.

Millbrook is situated on the Rame Peninsula opposite the Naval city of Plymouth, Bordered by the Rivers Lynher and Tamar, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Millbrook offers a range of amenities including general stores, post office, public houses, primary school, doctor`s surgery, chemist, yacht marina, village hall and sports and social activities. Millbrook lies within one and a half miles of the coastline on the Rame Peninsula, which enjoys numerous beaches along Whitsand Bay. Mount Edgcumbe County Park provides countryside and coastal walks. There is also a bus service to Torpoint and the City of Plymouth as well as a passenger ferry from Cremyll to Stonehouse in Plymouth.
