" Sowerbys are delighted to offer a beautifully presented modern home in Downham Market which has been much further improved by the current owners. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac of this popular town, we urge first hand viewing to gain a full appreciation of the property. Outside there is parking, a garage and landscaped gardens to front and rear, the rear also catching sun being south facing. Inside the property has undergone some clever reconfiguration to adapt for modern living. There is a reception hallway with oak flooring giving access to a study, WC, stairwell, kitchen/breakfast room and dining room. The dining room has been made open-plan to the sitting room where there is a fireplace, further oak flooring throughout, a gas fireplace, patio doors to the garden and a formed opening to the kitchen/breakfast room. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, the master bedroom having an en suite and furthermore there is a family bathroom.

The property is within very easy reach of the town and the railway station and shorter journey times means Downham Market is superb for commute to Ely, Cambridge and even London being less than 90 minutes.  

DOWNHAM MARKET Downham Market is one of Norfolk's oldest market towns and it can be traced back to Saxon times. The town has a good range of shops and a busy market on Fridays and Saturdays. There are many attractive houses and buildings and an unusual gothic black and white town clock. There is a mainline railway station that goes to London King’s Cross (1 hour and 30 minutes). It is an ideal place for walking or cycling and the peaceful waterways are excellent for boating and fishing. Nearby at Welney is the famous Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust nature reserve, which is very popular with birdwatchers. In November the Festival of Swans is held where visitors can observe the over-wintering swans. King’s Lynn (11 miles away) has an excellent variety of shops, supermarkets, places to eat, ten-pin bowling alley, swimming pool, football club, cinema, theatre and three impressive churches. There are many services within the town including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, police station, fire station, primary schools, three secondary schools, college and a library. King's Lynn is connected to the local cities of Norwich and Peterborough via the A47 and to Cambridge via the A10. There is a mainline rail link via Cambridge to London King's Cross (1 hour and 40 minutes).
