" A delightful detached four bedroom cottage which has been in the same family for two generations. The property has been lovingly restored by the present owners and retains many original features throughout including inglenook fireplace, exposed beams and stonework and stripped timber latch doors. A solid timber front door opens to the entrance hallway which is large enough for a compact study area. There is flagstone flooring and windows to the front and rear, stairs rising to the first floor giving access to three bedrooms and a cloakroom.

Door to sitting room with a splendid revealed stone inglenook fireplace with a bread oven to the side, a Bessemer beam over and windows to two aspects. Dining room with windows to two aspects, an attractive brick fireplace and timber flooring. A latch door leads to the kitchen which has glazed double doors to the front garden and is fitted with a range of bespoke base and wall units with integral appliances, an attractive granite work surface has a recessed Butler sink and tiled splash back. Quarry tiled flooring leads through to the utility room and bathroom which is fitted with a white period style suite, cast iron roll-top bath, separate enclosed shower, wash hand basin and W.C.

Situation
Garsington is approximately 5 miles south east of Oxford and well located for access to the road networks for Oxford and the North, London and the South. Main line trains to London Paddington run from Didcot Parkway with a journey time of approximately 45 minutes to London Paddington and from Haddenham and Thame Parkway to London Marylebone in approximately 50 minutes. The property is well positioned for the schools of Oxford and Abingdon.
