The Garden
Double width driveway giving parking for up to 4 cars, block paved pathway and area of lawn. There is also a charging point connection for an electric car. The rear garden is a very good size extending to well over 200' in length. There is a large patio with hot-tub which extends to the back of the garage where the heating oil tank is neatly sited away from view of the house. There is currently a large fish pond with ground water feed, over-flow pump and a timber framed/fenced surround (the seller is prepared to remove the pond at his own expense prior to completion if the pond is not required by a purchaser). The remainder of the garden is laid to lawn and leads down to the River Windrush. The foot of the garden and river bank is fenced and houses a very useful garden store.AGENT NOTE: The floods of 2007 did affect this and neighbouring properties in Rack End. As a result the environment agency created a significant flood bund on the south side of the riverbank to ensure any future overflow from the river runs on to the farmland opposite, being the natural flood plain.
