" A 4 bedroom family home set in the popular village of Merton, close to excellent commuter links.

4 College Cottages is a semi detached family home set in the middle of Merton, sitting on a generous plot in a vibrant Oxfordshire village.

A covered porch to the front opens into the entrance hallway with a number of reception rooms.

The kitchen which is the heart of a family home has a good range of units with plenty of worktop for all the usual requirements. There is also a very useful utility room.

The study is open through to the dining room, which makes for an overall entertaining space for family and friends. Double doors lead outside to the extensive patio and rear garden. The flexibility of the layout means the options are endless. The kitchen flows through to the snug and sitting room which features an open fire place which makes it feel a cosy family area.

Upstairs there are four large double bedrooms and family bathroom. This features a free standing cast iron bath with separate shower cubicle.

Outside the property the gardens to the rear are mainly laid to lawn and there is an extensive patio area around the property, excellent for entertaining on a summer?s evening.

The village of Merton is approximately 4 miles south of Bicester and has excellent train services. Bicester North offers a great commuter service to London Marylebone in around 45 minutes and you can reach Birmingham in 1 hour. Junction 9 of the M40 gives access to Birmingham and to London whilst the A34 takes you to Oxford and Newbury.

Merton is one of the ?seven towns of Otmoor?, so named because they surround the ancient area of great natural beauty. There is a village hall where there are many community events including an annual beer festival, tractor rally and summer barbeque.

The nearby village of Charlton-on-Otmoor has a primary school and also an award winning Michelin star pub The Nut Tree. Also Ambrosden has a village Post Office, shop and public house, The Turner?s Arms, a garage and hairdressers. "
