" Dating back to the 18th century, the Old Post Office is situated in the old part of this thriving Oxfordshire village within close proximity of the church, local public house and former Victorian school. The accommodation extends to in excess of 2100sq ft and is arranged over two floors. The property itself has been sympathetically renovated by the current owners whilst retaining a wealth of character and many original features which depict many eras of the house throughout the years.

On entering The Old Post Office you are greeted with the large farmhouse size kitchen/breakfast room with feature fireplace and log burner, beamed ceilings and exposed stonework. This room leads to a large utility, walk-in pantry and study. The light and airy living room is complete with ?milking parlour` style old brick flooring and a 1950`s feature fireplace. This flows through into the sunny vaulted conservatory with an open aspect over the well- stocked, beautifully maintained garden. The rear of the property can be accessed via a separate hall with shower room. Also on the ground floor there is a self-contained annex with a well fitted kitchen, shower room and a large reception room/bedroom. The annex has its own front door and access to the rear garden.

On the first floor the quirky master bedroom benefits from exposed beam work, built-in wardrobes and an adjoining luxurious ensuite bathroom with claw footed roll top bath. There are three further good size bedrooms and a family bathroom on this floor. To the rear of the property the remote control gates lead to a gravelled parking area for 2 cars. The stunning, fully enclosed and private rear garden is stocked with a variety of shrubs, bushes and plants which provide colour and shade throughout the seasons in this peaceful, secluded oasis. The garden is laid to lawn and is southerly in aspect. There is a stone built potting shed and an original well which the owners have restored and made into a water feature.
