The Property Has Gas Heating & A West Facing Rear Garden. Alexandra Road is A 'No Through Road' Leading Down to St. George's Playing Fields. This Area Offers Most Convenient Access To Oxford's Railway Station, the City Centre, Primary School, Open Spaces and a Waitrose Supermarket.

The properties in Alexandra Road were constructed by T. H. Kingerlee, and plans were submitted to build this road in 1901. Kingerlee originally suggested the name Queen Alexandra Road, as a tribute to Edward VII's consort; but the city council was not convinced that it was a sufficient tribute so made him drop the word 'Queen'. Alexandra Road leads directly off from the Botley Road and has a pleasing mix of outwardly comparable properties, which are interweaved with an attractive mix of dissimilar homes, set a little more 'back' from the road. This all adds to the collective appeal of the street. Alexandra Road is a located within three quarters of a mile from the heart of Oxford, and within half a mile distance of the intercity rail station connecting to London Paddington & Marylebone.
