" Why we like it:
This unique three bedroom apartment is situated on the top floor of this grade II listed building with far reaching views over countryside, lake and the cricket pitch. The bedrooms are all a really good size and there is a real feeling of space with many of the rooms in the property having high ceilings and the spacious hallways give the whole property a light and airy feeling. The living room has a lovely light double aspect, glazed French doors lead to the kitchen/dining room that has a lovely modern kitchen fitted with a Siemens induction hob and double oven. There is a fitted dishwasher and fridge freezer. The large master bedroom has an en suite shower but there is a large family bathroom with separate shower and bath. Ample built in storage cupboards and wardrobes throughout the apartment. The property benefits from an efficient gas boiler serving hot water and radiators and an excellent air circulation system. This apartment situated in the top ramparts of this Grade two listed building which still has many of the original features and impressive gardens.

The location:
On the outskirts of Cholsey which lies approximately three miles to the south west of Wallingford. Historic information records the original tiny Saxon farming community to the thriving lively commuter village of today. There is excellent parks and an active local community served by ?The Forty` magazine. There is a local enthusiasts Cholsey and Wallingford Railway running between the two locations (known locally as The Bunk because the locomotive twice left the coaches behind and `did a bunk`). Agatha Christie is undoubtedly the most famous Cholsey inhabitant and is buried at the local church.
