" The property comes to the market with Sowerbys as an outstanding detached cottage dating back, in parts, we understand some 250 years. There is a wealth of internal character and of particular note is the impressive oak ceiling beams to the sitting room and dining room, original pamment tiled flooring, oak framed doors and impressive fireplaces. The current owners have undergone a complete refurbishment during their ownership of the property, to both the fabric of the property and aesthetically. The full refurbishment includes works such as re-roofing, clever conversion of the old coach house to further living accommodation and French drains. A full itinerary of works can be discussed with the vendor. Viewing is strongly recommended to appreciate the coach house and particularly the fully vaulted ceiling to the sitting room; developing this into living accommodation does allow the opportunity to become truly versatile and indeed, could incorporate a work from home scenario. To the outside, the gardens are a particular feature of this excellent looking cottage. Meticulous attention has been paid by the current owners to ensure that the gardens are beautifully maintained and have a number of 'secret garden' areas to enjoy at certain times of the day. In addition to the above, there is ample off road parking and a detached double garage.

. In summary, the accommodation comprises an entrance hallway, enjoying original pamment tiled flooring, sitting room, with impressive oak beams and views of the front gardens, dining room with oak beams and stairs leading to the first floor, garden room with views overlooking the gardens, kitchen, laundry room and bathroom to the ground floor. To the first floor, there are four bedrooms with bedroom three leading to bedroom four and a family shower room. The coach house enjoys fully vaulted ceiling to the sitting room with doors leading to the gardens, dining room and fully fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. In addition to the above, heating of the house and coach house is by way of oil central heating to radiators and the property benefits from sealed unit double glazed windows, and external doors throughout.
