Situated with views over quintessential English countryside and with a stream at the bottom of the garden that runs down into the valley this immaculate four bedroom house demands an early viewing to fully appreciate its many features and benefits. Location

Maidford is a civil and eccesiastical parish in South Northamptonshire and the diocese of Peterborough situated about 6 miles (9.7 km) north-west of Towcester. It was a centre of local Northamptonshire lace-making until the early 20th century. Maidford is mentioned in the Domesday Book as the settlement Merdeford Manor. The 13th-century parish church is dedicated to St Peter and St Paul and forms the centre of a monastic complex used as an hospitalium by the nearby Abbey at Canons Ashby. Since 2006 the parish has been part of the Lambfold Benefice along with the parishes of Blakesley, Adstone, Farthingstone and Litchborough. The nearest town is Towcester where there are a number of high street retailers which include Waitrose, Tesco and the Co-Op. There is also a doctors surgery, church and highly rated primary and secondary schools. There is a leisure centre with both family and adult pools, along with a fully equipped gym. The village is approximately 2 miles from the A5 which gives good access to the major road networks which include the A43 and M1 motorway. There are mainline train stations in both Northampton and Milton Keynes which serve London Euston, to the South, and Birmingham New Street, to the North. The nearest local convenience store is 2 miles away in Blakesley the shop is open until 9pm on weekdays and weekends (as is the post office). The annual Blakesley Show is held just outside Maidford and has been a highlight of the Summer for over 100 years.
