" An amazing detached home and garden for sale in Welton, Nr Daventry, with the added bonus of a transformed, extended kitchen/diner and bathroom plus creatively presented bedrooms.

The interior design has transformed this home throughout, with so much care and attention to detail.

The lounge has the benefit of a built-in log burner for those cosy winter evenings and bi-folding doors to the dining room; excellent for entertaining and really does open the downstairs space up if you prefer.

Following round into the kitchen-dining area you really do get the impression this is the heart of the home, the 'pièce de résistance', with its traditional bamboo flooring and a very cleverly planned kitchen.We like the under-island plinth floor heating making it a warm environment to spend time in. Truly a fabulous use of downstairs space for entertaining friends and family.

Now upstairs, the bedrooms have been very well thought out and are a credit to the owner.

The bathroom has been transformed to include a bath with an over head shower, with the additional benefit of a heated towel rail.

The owner currently uses the third bedroom as her study area. With a high ceiling and a picture window this room transforms working from home into a pleasurable experience.

Double French patio doors in the kitchen/diner open onto the private rear garden, with mature shrubs, patio area and raised decking – absolutely perfect to sit and have a morning coffee, dine al-fresco or share a glass of wine in the long summer evenings.

One thing we did notice while visiting this magnificent home is how quiet the location is as this property is situated in a quiet cul - de - sac.

The front of the house has been paved recently with slate-grey herringbone stone creating ample parking for 3 vehicles.

There is a small lawned area and established shrubs and trees.

Welton village is conveniently positioned among fabulous countryside just on the outskirts of DaventryThe canal path is only down the road and footpaths and bridleways are plentiful - a pair of a hunter wellies and a dog are a must to live here.

The village itself is a very friendly neighbourhood. Commuting is very easy being so close to all the main road networks and Long Buckby station is only 7 minutes away by car so access to London and Birmingham is very easy.

Local schools are excellent and Margaret, the landlady at the local pub, the White Horse is, also very welcoming so feel free to pop in there and meet some of the locals.
