" Location: With its unspoilt sandy beaches, wildlife rich countryside and picture postcard village nestling in the shadow of a dramatic fortress castle, Bamburgh is without doubt one of the most scenic villages in England. Famous for the heroine Grace Darling, Bamburgh offers a superb village lifestyle with excellent pubs offering a selection of cuisine, quaint cafes, village shops and a fine golf course. Walkers and dog lovers will be in their element with miles of beaches, dunes and countryside to explore. The harbour town of Seahouses, just four miles away, has a supermarket, a good range of independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes, and a very popular local golf course. Regular boat trips to the seabird and seal sanctuaries of the Farne Islands are also available. Bamburgh is also close to other attractions including Budle Bay, the famous kipper port of Craster 14 miles away and Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island 15 miles away.
