Seahouses is popular with tourists and has a working harbour offering boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands. It is a very popular holiday destination with extensive sandy beaches overlooked by Bamburgh Castle and The Farne Islands. The main A1 road is around 8 miles away for easy access. Further amenities are available to the south within the market town of Alnwick. Alnwick is home to the major tourist attractions of the medieval Alnwick Castle, The Alnwick Garden and the world famous Barter Books.
