" Approach

From Elm Bank Road as you approach The Shieling there are large double wrought iron gates providing access on to the generous flagged parking area which leads to both the garage and also the front double doors of the home.
Immediately looking at the house, its period featured can be admired including multiple stained glass windows and decorative woodwork. It can also be seen that the property has been sympathetically extended.

Internal

... a garden room with a attractive tiled floor. It is predominantly glazed, has external blinds and also some traditional hand crank window fitments. A panelled door positioned beneath a stained glass window within a rather attractive stone arch leads through to the inner hall with a tiled mosaic floor, picture rail, deep skirting boards and high ceiling. A further internal door leads into the extremely good sized hallway which has stairs leading to the first floor, a WC with stained glass window and Herringbone floor with a cloak hanging area. It also provides access in to three main rooms including the living room which has a delightful large bay with door positioned within in providing splendid views over the rear garden. Additional natural light pours into the room via a west facing window. The living room`s main focal point is a traditional fireplace with Norwegian style gas stove and a decorative wooden surround and mantle.
The main hallway also provides access into the kitchen which has been recently modernised. It has a range of units including pan drawer and wall mounted cupboards. There is a granite style worktop as well as an induction hob, double oven and fridge. There is an external door providing access into the garage and workshop area. Just immediately outside the door lies the utility room with good storage, plumbing for washing machine and a Belfast style sink as well as a neighbouring WC. External

The Shieling offers a wonderfully generous plot; the current owners have clearly spent much time, love and effort on a fabulously presented garden with many different features and offerings.
The garden enjoys great privacy; it is predominately lawned but the lawn has a wooden gazebo to provide shade and seating space and also various flagged areas, gravelled paths and a rather attractive stone pillared pergola.
