" An 1850s Grade II Listed Victorian family home amassing close to 2,800 sq ft across five floors and offering a wealth of period features. The terrace is aesthetically pleasing and houses are rarely available with many families staying for generations. The ground floor reception room is impressive with wooden flooring, ornate cornicing, dramatically high ceilings, two marble fireplaces and original sash windows complete with wooden shutters. The light throughout is unobstructed and plentiful. The ground floor leads directly onto a terrace and in turn to the near 80 ft rear garden which is mature and secluded. The lower ground floor, which also provides access to the rear garden, offers a kitchen and dining space with pantry, utility and vault storage. There is an additional external entrance to this floor so there is potential to create a separate dwelling, self-contained flat, andor a guestnanny area. The first floor offers two bedrooms with the principal suite taking centre stage boasting coving, wooden flooring, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite with roll top cast iron bath and a view over the expansive rear garden. The top two floors complete the house with a further four bedrooms and one bathroom. The property is for sale chain free and while some updating is required, it provides an ideal canvas with strong bones, favourable natural light, and original features that have been perfectly preserved.
