" Overview
Housenetwork.co.uk are pleased to offer this spacious period family house situated in a pleasant wide residential road. It has 4 floors plus a narrow full-length cellar, with 5 bedrooms, plus huge and unusually attractive attic room.

The house is centrally heated and retains many original features. The walled garden is very quiet, but the rear garden wall is in need of repair. A large family could comfortably live here straight away, but most buyers will consider extensive refurbishment, the need for which is reflected in the asking price. If this property were to be updated with new kitchen, bathroom, modern central heating boiler, full redecoration and wiring etc., it would compare very favourably with similar sized family properties in Highbury now on the market at seven figures.

On the East side of a wide road, the terrace and pavement is set well back behind a generous tree-lined border. Drayton Park has recently become a very appealing location after the recent massive improvements that accompanied the building of the Emirates stadium. There's new high-quality housing opposite, and traffic speed and noise is kept low with a width restriction that excludes large vehicles. The property measures approximately 1,904ft2 (177 sq.m).

Access to public transport and day-to-day shopping is excellent, local stations being Drayton Park (approximately 1 minute walk) and Arsenal (approximately 6 minutes). Drayton Park station links in less than 15 minutes to St.Pancras, with access to National high speed rail links, EuroStar etc.

Drayton Park and Highbury Fields schools are each approximately 3 minutes walk, and besides a good selection of general local shops, a Tesco Metro is approximately 30 seconds away. Cycle and walking access to Holloway Road shops, station, buses etc has been transformed by the impressive new bridge and walkway that forms part of the Stadium environment.
