" This house can be many things to many people as is proven by the current owners who have different uses for the property. There is a large garden which was on the top of their wish list where the owners can grow their own vegetables and still have plenty of space for leisure activities. Then there was the potential to earn an income from the self contained lodge which has permission for holiday lets. So for the last 6 years the owners have run a successful holiday let business which has provided additional income without compromising their own living standards. The house itself has proven to be a superb family home offering space and delightful rural surroundings and the family have enjoyed many happy hours in the heated swimming pool which has also been an attraction for the paying guest. The lodge could also be used as a fantastic self contained space for the teenagers of the family for sleep overs and parties. When you buy a house of this size and quality you will probably need garaging for the big boys toys and again this house fits the bill with its detached double garage and two gated parking areas which provides enough space to park a caravan or boat. The owners immediately saw the enormous potential this property offered it was in an ideal rural location, yet convenient for the A249 and easy access for the motorway connections.

When we first viewed this property 6 years ago it was above our budget but the potential to earn an income from the lodge enabled us to stretch our finances. We have consistently been able to rent out the lodge since we have owned the house and see it as a big advantage to potential buyers. We have loved the space in our house with all the family having their own bedrooms and the two large reception rooms have been ideal when we have been entertaining.Since owning the property we have made many improvements to it including the provision of a second bathroom to the ground floor.
