" Properties rarely come available in the village of Upper Upnor and even rarer are bungalows. If you are looking for a bungalow it may be because you are looking for a retirement property and therefore a quieter location, a place to relax, not be concerned with busy traffic or possible plenty of surrounding space for countryside walks. Well all of these things and more can be certainly had with this home.As the property is being sold with no onward chain it is ready for immediate occupation, just in time to enjoy those approaching summer months, tending the garden or possibly lazy Sunday afternoons in the local pub garden, which is just around the corner.
If you are of a more active disposition, the local sailing clubs and the outdoor Pursuit Centre at the Arethusa in Lower Upnor are some of the places you can enjoy. Finally if the odd trip to London needs to be done, the approx. 30 minutes high speed train service to St Pancras from Strood is available on a daily basis, as well as the obvious shopping facilities and amenities all being within a few miles of the village.

What the Owner says:

We’ve lived in the village for many years and knowing a lot of the local people have found it a great place to live. We’ve made a few changes to the bungalow recently, making better use of the accommodation and the gardens to the rear and side provide a blank canvass for the new buyer. Many homes in the village don’t have the advantage of off road parking, so to find a property in a small cul-de-sac with parking for up to 3 vehicles is certainly a rarity.
