" Upnor is one of the most sought after locations in North Kent. If sailing or any water sports are a keen interest, where better to live than on the shores of the Medway Estuary. The village has 2 yacht clubs, which cater for all abilities, so don't be shy to pop down and say hello. The property has recently been decorated throughout, so there is hardly anything to be done. The accommodation is set up over three floors however, if a 4th bedroom is needed, the lounge on the first floor would be ideal. Why not take a more relaxed approach, take an opportunity to enjoy the scenic views overlooking the Historic Dockyards or re-live the history of the village by visiting Upnor Castle and grounds. All can be seen from the property, only a few properties that have the fortune of river view, which are seen from the lounge and master bedroom. Perhaps then take the opportunity to rest and recuperate by catching up with the locals in the village public house.Outside of the village, approx. 2 ½ miles away, is the Historic High Street of Rochester with its range of bars and restaurants. The town also has a Cathedral and grounds, which can be explored.

What the Owner says:

The property was ideally situated for us, our daughter was studying in Rochester and found that the travel links were superb. The main selling point for us was the river views. On a sunny summers day there’s nothing better than to be sitting in the lounge with the balcony doors open and watching the boats sailing pass. The village has a lovely feel, we had looked at several areas throughout Kent but without a doubt, this was the best area by a long way.
