" It was no doubt with the family in mind that the owners bought this 4 bedroom detached property in one of the most sought after locations in Strood. There is still further potential to increase the size of this already large family home, as plans have been passed for a first floor extension, as well as a loft conversion. One of the main factors of this home was the potential for extension and this has certainly been exploited with the owners building a third reception room measuring over 27ft in length. This room has provided a great space for all seasons with under floor heating for when it’s cold and a space to relax overlooking the garden during the summer. With several people living under one roof, it can always be difficult if you only have one bathroom, so this house with its ground floor shower room eliminates that problem.
The owners have also benefited from having two other separate reception rooms, so if a bit of peace and quiet is needed, you can lock yourself away without being disturbed. With the kitchen being open plan into the new extension, it’s provided great space for the family to talk about the days events, whilst enjoying their dinner.

What the Owner says:

We needed to stay fairly local to where we were previously for schools for the children, so when this property came up with the potential that it had and the garden, it was perfect. One thing that initially struck us was the 4 double bedrooms, as we’ve viewed so many before that just had a box room as a 3rd or 4th bedroom. The boxes on our wish list for a property when we bought it was certainly all ticked, with plenty of parking available, big garden and a utility room. With the improvements we’ve made, it now makes a fantastic family home and I’m sure the new buyers will be extremely happy here.
