" This large family home is positioned in a stunning village location that is highly sought after. Do not be deceived by the external appearance as the current owner of the home has extended the living accommodation dramatically. Currently utilising the extra space for a bedroom downstairs, the layout is ideal for any teenager or perhaps elderly relative that may be living with you. There is a toilet and shower facility to the ground floor also, with additional space added to the kitchen which now measures 17ft. For anyone perhaps looking at further development the home sits on a generous corner plot, the main advantage being that you are not over looked but the owner was considering a double story extension to the side subject to necessary planning consents.
With a warm homely feel it’s clear to see why the home has been in the family for nearly 50 years. Cuxton itself is a picturesque village surrounded by countryside and nature walks. Most residents we find that live in the village rarely move out which is a very positive sign seeing that the village has rarely changed over the past years. Despite the stereo type that living near the countryside commuting is difficult, there is a train station within walking distance which connects to mainline Strood, now having the benefit of the high speed link to London.

What the Owner says:

I’ve lived in the property since my father bought it in 1962. The extensions that were made never gave us any need to move as there was more than enough space for everyone to have their own room. I have always thought about the potential to the side but never took it any further. It has been a brilliant family home for us and would be great to see another family move in and enjoy it as much as we have. The village itself has a great reputation and offers a local convenient store, take away, primary school and hair dressers. I work in the city and find that what ever transport I take, whether by car or train, it’s very easy and stress free to travel.
