There is a walkway to the side of the cottage leading to the rear gate opening onto a pretty courtyard with grapevine and patio and fenced boundaries. Exit the gate and in front of you is an additional piece of land to the rear with a shed and coal bunker. Walk to your right and through the archway which leads to the ‘secret’ garden to the side of the cottage! What a delightful place to sit - with a stream feeding into the River Beult to the side and the delightful SUMMERHOUSE which overlooks a wild flower area.

The ‘secret garden’ has a high hedge to the side which gives the air of total seclusion and a paved patio area ideal for the barbeque! To the right hand side of the cottage is an allotment garden available to the property for a small yearly rental (£10) with a shed and a greenhouse.

DIRECTIONS   On entering Hunton via West Street from Maidstone direction continue past the Church and keep going. Pass Bensted Close on your right and as you approach the Hunton Village Club on your right look out for the telephone exchange just next door, where you will find a small road leading to The Square. Continue along this road and the cottage is the last property on your left.
