The A5025, which snakes its way along the eastern side of the island, passes through beautiful countryside, villages and beaches whilst the Bodafon Estate is tucked away out of sight, offering peace and privacy yet not far from the coastal village of Moelfre and just minutes from some superb beaches along this stretch of coastline. Anglesey boasts around 125 miles of spectacular coastline ranging from dramatic cliffs, sand-dune nature reserves to fine sandy beaches, the beauty of which is enhanced by many attractions and activities that can be indulged in, ranging from watersports of all descriptions, rock climbing to invigorating coastal and countryside walks and even motorsports, the race track at Ty Croes now a favourite amongst the racing fraternity! There is also much historical interest such as the castle at Beaumaris and numerous lighthouses. The port at Holyhead can be accessed easily from the excellent road network as well as flights from Valley airport to the city of Cardiff. Close to Bodafon Estate is an extensive range services and facilities in nearby Benllech, whilst a greater range is to hand in Llangefni. The mainland can be reached within 20 minutes roughly by car and the main A55 expressway runs right across the island as far as Chester with a mainline railway station available in Bangor with direct connections to London.
