Superbly presented, this cosy Grade II Listed 2 Storey Terraced Cottage is a real joy to behold being situated in the heart of historic Beaumaris and just a short walk from amenities and the seafront, offering cosy accommodation that just has to be seen to be appreciated. The property was probably built in the early 19th century, being positioned close to the perimeter walls of Beaumaris' Victorian Goal and therefore contributing to the remarkable historical setting. This is certainly a property which could be moved into with minimal fuss and would make a handsome weekend retreat or indeed serve handsomely as holiday accommodation. The attractive interior which has traditional timber sash windows to the front elevation offers a 22' principal reception room which has plenty of space for dining and also a focal fireplace housing a multi-fuel stove. The kitchen has patio doors, solid wood worktops, 'soft close' doors and built-in appliances to include: oven, hob, extractor and fridge whilst the bathroom suite is clean and contemporary. A further highlight is the garden located to the rear which will certainly make living here and spending time outdoors a real joy. The property benefits from gas central heating, part double glazing and briefly comprises: Entrance Hall, Dining Lounge, Kitchen, Landing, 2 Bedrooms and Bathroom. A home that must be seen to fully appreciate what is being offered.

LOCATION Beaumaris means 'beautiful marsh' and is situated towards the south easterly corner of Anglesey and is home to the last Edwardian castle to be built in Wales. The town is steeped in history and home to an interesting mixture of Medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Sitting right on the banks of the Menai Strait there are some superb views of the mountains of Snowdonia from the promenade. Beaumaris was established by Edward I as the site for the last of his 'iron ring' castles dating back to 1295. Other historic buildings include the court house, the Victorian Gaol and the Church of St Mary and St Nicholas. There is much to enjoy in and around the vibrant town with quaint streets to explore and a wide variety of independent shops, taverns and restaurants. The area provides a great spot for fishing and sailing and there is also a fabulous golf course. With plenty of fine beaches and coves in the vicinity, together with excellent road links leading to the city of Bangor and A55, the area could be just what you are looking for.
