" Offered for sale is this three bedroom detached bungalow built on a generous plot. The property is being sold with no upward chain and has plenty of opportunity to extend or develop. The property in its current state would be of interest to a family or downsizer. However, subject to planning permission, it would also be a great opportunity for an investor. Once you enter the property through the front door, you enter into a carpeted hallway with radiator and storage cupboard. To the right is the lounge, which benefits from three large double glazed windows that help open up the room by allowing the natural light to shine through. The flooring is tiled and the walls are painted a neutral colour. There are two radiators either side of the lounge and it features a wood fireplace (the metal cover on the fireplace can be removed). Adjacent to the lounge is the kitchen/diner which has built-in base and eye level units plus space for a fridge freezer and further appliances including a dishwasher, cooker and hob. There is a rear door separating the kitchen and diner which allows side access into the rear garden. The dining area is currently carpeted and has a radiator and a wooden framed glass door leads you back into the hallway. The family bathroom includes a white three piece suite with panel bath with mixer shower to taps, W/C and wash hand basin. The room is partially tiled and has a shelved cupboard for additional storage space. Two of the bedrooms are to the front of the property; they both benefit from a window to the front aspect and are carpeted. The third bedroom is of a smaller size and positioned on the side of the property. Externally the front of the property is walled by hedges and trees which creates a private driveway for off road parking. The bungalow is positioned on the left of this generous plot and has gardens along the right side and rear. The garden is filled with shrubbery and trees; it includes areas of lawn, paving, a shed and a seating area with a bench. There are pathways throughout the garden which walks you around the mature shrubs and includes an archway. Situation Situated in an area close to all local shops, local schools and amenities and Scraptoft Golf Course. Hamilton Tesco Superstore is also close by and bus routes into Leicester City Centre are very accessible. Directions From the City Centre proceed out of town via Humberstone Road and Uppingham Road. Proceed onto Scraptoft lane and then turn right onto Thurncourt Road. Follow Thurncourt Road until Brook Road is on your left. The property will be on your right hand side and can be identified by the Harrison Murray 'For Sale' board. "
