" Wheelbwright's Barn is an elegant, light-filled barn conversion situated in the heart of Empingham. Located within extensive gardens and surrounded by mature trees, it has a wonderfully peaceful and secluded setting and yet is within just a few minutes walk of the village stores and other amenities. The attractive stone-built façade has a flagged terrace to the front with an oak-frame entrance porch overlooking an expanse of lawn, whilst inside, the house retains many striking original features such as the stunning vaulted ceiling and beams in the first floor Living Room and original stone walls. More recent updates, such as the oak-framed French doors, a splendid Kitchen & Dining Room and luxurious bathrooms, have excellently combined the period character with modern fittings. Throughout the barn the spacious rooms are filled with natural light from the windows on each side, and on the ground floor, many sets of French doors open the house out to the sunny terraces. With its peaceful village setting and welcoming interior, Wheelwright's Barn is a unique, charming and stylish period home in an excellent Rutland location.

From the end of Crocket's Lane the gated entrance opens to a graveled drive edged by mature trees that leads round to parking in front of the Garage. A path leads to the oak-framed Entrance Porch.
