" An imposing three bed stone built property offering good sized accommodation sitting in an elevated position in this well thought of Rutland village.

ACCOMMODATION Enter the property into a small entrance porch that gives access to the entrance hallway. The hall provides access to the sitting room complete with beamed ceiling and open fire. This is a particularly light room due to having windows to three sides. Off the hallway there is understairs storage, stairs rising to the first floor and also a door into the dining room. The dining room has a feature fireplace with a multi-fuel burning stove and windows to the front and side elevations. There are character features in this room to include the beamed ceiling and the original period cupboards. One particular feature to the rooms on the front of the house are the original sash windows that are still operational. Located to the rear of the property is the kitchen which offers a comprehensive range of floor standing and wall mounted cupboards and drawers, integrated fridge and freezer and also an integrated dishwasher. Just off the kitchen is the downstairs WC housing the gas fired Baxi boiler and a stable door leading out to the terrace and garden beyond.
To the first floor the landing has an original sash window to the front and provides access to the bedroom accommodation comprising, two double bedrooms to the front of the property, bedroom one is again a light room by virtue of windows to three elevations and has pleasant features to include stripped wooden doors and picture rails. LOCATION Whissendine is a large community village which lies approximately 5 miles from Oakham and 6.5 miles from Melton Mowbray. Within the village there are two public houses, a church, primary school and a fantastic village shop with hairdressers. In addition there is a sports complex with playing fields and cricket ground just on the outskirts of the village.
