" Housesimple is pleased to present this four bedroom detached property in Arnside, Cumbria.



Tanglewood is the last house in a private road, bordering protected Copridding Wood so has a very secluded and peaceful feel. The whole area is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house is a few minutes walk away from the coast and has mostly double aspect rooms with large windows giving wonderful garden and woodland views. The extensive garden, with an abundance of mature trees and shrubs provides a good supply of fuel for the log fire - a delight in the winter.



Originally a bungalow, the house has undergone several extensions. Including a first floor master bedroom with en-suite containing a corner bath with shower over, plus a separate toilet and bidet; an additional bedroom and bathroom

(again with shower over the bath) and an impressive multi-purpose room with two Velux windows and double doors leading onto a balcony giving outstanding views over the garden towards the west coast.



Downstairs a rear sun room with bi-fold doors opens onto an Indian stone patio with a slate water feature and a delightful rear garden with abundant wildlife and protected woodland beyond.



The village which borders South Lakeland National Park is quaint, with a 'back in time' feel and located on Morecombe Bay estuary with its alluring tidal bore and train viaduct. The famous guide 'Cadric Robinson' sometimes takes walking parties across the dangerous sands to Grange at low tide. Arnside Knott, at the foot of which the village stands, gives far-reaching views of the Lakeland hills and there are numerous scenic walks. Amenities are excellent with a small variety of shops, primary school, library, doctors, dentists, a park, churches,pubs and village halls with many activities. The village also benefits from both a train station and bus service.
