The town of Glenrothes was founded in 1948 and offers a diverse range of facilities and amenities. For those of a sporting nature Glenrothes boasts its own 18 hole municipal golf course with additional leisure pursuits available at the Fife Institute of Physical & Recreational Education. The centrally located indoor shopping centre also incorporates the Rothes Halls which is a purpose built conference and exhibition centre.
For the commuter railway stations with links to Edinburgh are situated within the villages of both Markinch and Thornton with the A92 providing access throughout Fife.
The property is situated within the popular private residential cul de sac of Foxton Meadows which is to the south end of Glenrothes. Conveniently placed for access to the Thornton train station. The town centre of Glenrothes is approximately two miles distance where there is an abundance of major shops and specialist stores. If travelling from the Glenrothes town centre it can be located by continuing east bound along the A911 taking a right onto the A92 heading south bound towards the Bankhead roundabout. Take a left onto the B921 continuing through the first mini roundabout and taking a right at the Blackwood roundabout onto Blackwood Road. Continue along Blackwood Road for approximately ? mile then taking a right onto Foxton Drive. Continue along Foxton Drive and take your first left onto Charleston Drive. Continue into the estate and the road then hooks to the right. Continue along Kinloch Drive and at the junction take a right into Stanley Drive.
