" With Hersham Village located within a few hundred meters to the South and the mainline station within 0.5 miles to the North this attractive semi detached character house is conveniently located for commuters and family's alike. The current owners have invested considerable energy in the refurbishment of this home and many of the improvements have gone beyond what can be seen at first glance. One of the more notable improvements is widened treads on the staircase making assentation to the first floor a far less difficult task than the original staircase would have allowed. The accommodation on the ground floor comprises of two excellent sized reception rooms, the living room overlooks the front of the property and features a large bay window and log burning stove. The dining room retains character with stripped wooden floor boards and is open plan to the kitchen. The kitchen has been recently refitted with a comprehensive range of base and eye level high gloss units, solid wood work surfaces and tiled splash backs. The utility room houses the recently replaced boiler, has plumbing for a washing machine and leads through to the bathroom. Fitted with a brand new suite combining classic white sanitary ware and white ceramic tiles the bathroom has a luxurious feel that really needs to be seen to be appreciated. We particularly liked the roll top bath and rather special mixer-tap shower attachment.
