" 14, Bowes Road is a classic, attractive 1930?s house, tidy and well-kept, but only modestly developed since its original construction. The unusually-generous plot would easily accommodate significant expansion (subject to the usual planning consents). Thus far, only a minor extension to the original kitchen has been implemented. A conservatory was added at some point, but it is believed the original conservatory (which has now been replaced by a modern structure) was built well before 1969, (this additional space will be considered part of the base footprint for expansion calculations by the local planning authority). Upstairs, the bedroom arrangement is unchanged, although the bathroom has been modernised. The lofts pace has not been developed. Externally, and most unusually, there are 2 garages, one of which is integral, the other a detached structure situated at the bottom of the long garden (with access rights via the private lane running alongside the property). This offers the unique possibility of converting the integral garage & developing additional space above, whilst retaining garaging capacity. If not retained as a garage, the second garage could be developed into a separate home office, entertainment area, games room or studio. A particular feature of this home is the substantial rear garden: 140ft in length, secluded, and of a gloriously sunny disposition (South-facing with an open vista), this is a delightful, relaxing, tranquil space which is rare for a property so centrally-located. To the front of the house, there is a garden laid to lawn and a driveway. This space could be converted to provide additional off-road parking. "
