" The scene is set the moment you arrive outside the property with its pillared entrance porch and black and white tiled floor and on entering the large reception hall, one is struck by a delightful feeling of space and solidity which only a house of this era can bring. Despite requiring modernisation throughout, with its classic high elevations and attractive staircase, you are immediately drawn into the beautiful charm of this home and period features continue throughout the house. The substantial front reception room extends into a bay window and with pretty cornising, it is a wonderful room in which to relax. The equally sizable dining room has similar character moldings and overlooks the rear garden which can be accessed via glazed wooden double doors. The large kitchen breakfast room has wonderful large twin sash windows adding extra natural light and an extensive range of fitted units and work surfaces. Fitted appliances include a single oven, a four ring gas hob with extractor hood above and there is space and plumbing for a dishwasher. A door leads to a large utility room to the rear, which has a tiled floor and fitted units and work surfaces to incorporate a sink and there is space and plumbing for a washing machine and separate tumble dryer. There is a door to side access and two further small rooms for storage. From the hallway there is a cloakroom consisting of a white WC and small wash hand basin.

The fabulous and well appointed staircase leads to a good sized first floor landing and on the half landing there is an attractive stained glass window adding extra natural light. The good sized master bedroom extends into a bay window and has fitted wardrobes and a very attractive cast iron feature fireplace with tiled inserts and a wooden mantle. There is also an en suite shower room consisting of a shower cubicle, a white WC and a wash hand basin. The sizeable double bedroom 2 also has built in wardrobes and lovely twin sash windows that overlook the rear garden. Double bedroom 3 also has rear garden views and double bedroom 4 has a pretty cast iron feature fireplace with tiled inserts and a wooden mantel. Bedroom 5 is a single and could be used as a study.
