Schooling for all ages along with a comprehensive range of amenities and facilities, including excellent leisure facilities, can be found in the nearby market town of Thetford, just over 4 miles away. There is a regular rail service from here to Cambridge and on to London. In the other direction, the journey to Norwich takes only 30 minutes circa. The town is in a fortunate position along the A11 corridor. This route is undergoing a process of improvement and further dualling, substantially shortening the journey times to Cambridge and London by road, making this a very convenient location. To the North and East lie the market towns of Attleborough and Watton at circa 7 and 10 miles, while the fine city of Norwich is approximately 20 miles away, directly accessible via the A11 dual carriageway. To the South lies the busy Suffolk town of Bury St Edmunds, approximately 18 miles away. "
