The property is in a quiet Cul-De-Sac which has 13 detached houses.

This property has been fully refurbished with excellent quality new carpet in the lounge, stairs, landing and all the 4 bedrooms. The Open plan living area is covered with Engineered Hardwood floor. The property is fully double glazed and central heating is provided with modern convector boiler. The electrics have modern trip board. There is intruder alarm fitted.

The property offers excellent and very spacious accommodation. On the ground floor is an open plan large reception hall leading to very large Kitchen/Diner and very spacious day room. There is a good size utility room fitted with floor and wall cupboards and sink. All the laundry equipment and a freezer are housed in this room. There is also a through lounge/Dining room and a guest cloakroom.

On the first floor the property provides very good size 4 bedrooms, all of these can accommodate a double bed with the master bedroom having the benefit of an En-Suite bathroom. There is an additional family bathroom. There is a fully boarded loft reached by a loft ladder through the landing.

The outside area consists of a small bedding area and a green to the front of the property which also provides off street parking for 2 cars. To the rear of the property is a large patio laid with natural stone and equipped with an electrically operated canopy.  Step down to the patio is a beautiful, approximately 150 foot, private secluded garden with mature shrubs , trees and plants. The garden backs on to the fields. Sitting in the garden gives you the feel of living in the country yet only a short drive to local conveniences on Manor Road and Chigwell high street.

The catchment area schools are Chigwell Primary School and West Hatch High school. The primary school is rated as above average and secondary school is desirable and highly rated locally.

Both Grange Hill station and Chigwell stations, Central Line, are only a short walking distance with Grange hill being closer. There are regular buses from Manor Road.

What the owner’s say about the property: When we first saw this property it was in a dire state needing total refurbishment and the layout was not at all practical. Our initial reaction was to walk straight out but the estate agent persuaded us to at least look at it properly. Having gone on the first floor we could see very good size bedrooms and couple of these offered an extremely pleasing view of the garden, although overgrown and poorly kept, had the potential of becoming a private paradise. The garden was graced with a family of beautiful Pheasants. We made an immediate offer and have never regretted. As the children have now left the accommodation is too large for us and we want to downsize regrettably. We hope the new owners have as much joy and pleasure we have owning this superb house.
