" A charming period cottage in the heart of the rural Herefordshire countryside with exceptional views

Description

The property is approached via a private driveway and there is ample parking for several vehicles. The gardens are predominantly to the fore and provide exceptional views across the rolling countryside. Steps lead up to the main front door, there is also a secondary front door which opens to the kitchen.

The generous and welcoming entrance hall is currently used as a study space and opens directly into the open plan dining room and kitchen.

The dining area has a staircase to the first floor, a door to the sitting room, a tiled floor that continues through to the kitchen and an open feature fireplace with inset log burner. It currently comfortably holds a 6 place table and chairs plus a large dresser.

The kitchen is fitted with a variety of grey wooden wall and floor units providing an array of storage, topped with a solid wood worksurface. There is a Belfast sink as well as space for a large freestanding cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher. A solid stable door opens out to the front covered veranda and alfresco dining area, which provides an idyllic space to entertain family and friends. There is also a guest cloakroom off the kitchen.

The sitting room has a lovely bay window, an open fireplace with wooden surround and double door opening to the conservatory.

The conservatory has stunning views out across the front vista and double doors open directly to the lawn.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a house bathroom. Bedroom one is a generous double that looks out to the front and has a built in storage cupboard and is ensuite to the bathroom. The family bathroom is fitted with a freestanding rolltop bathtub and a separate shower cubicle. Bedroom two is another large double with a window looking out to the side.

Outside
There is an additional garden to the left of the driveway which has incredible views and a wildlife pond. The main front garden also leads down to a fenced paddock where there are two useable block stables. The gardens are excellently kept with a variety of mature trees, hedging, shrubs and planting.
