" Overview

A substantial detached 1950s family home situated in one of the most sought after roads in Berkhamsted. Ideally located for the commuter with the mainline station to London Euston, shops and extensive cafe culture all within a short walk. To the front a large block paved driveway provides parking for at least 4 vehicles, One of the most striking features of the property is the kitchen/breakfast room which provides a central gathering point for the whole family. The extensive range of beech kitchen units is finished with a granite work surface and includes a Siemens integrated dishwasher. A stainless steel Falcon range cooker and hood provides a contemporary accent to this attractive room. Leading off the kitchen is a formal dining room and recently refitted utility room with integral dryer and washing machine, sink over and fitted units providing additional storage. There are excellent schooling facilities in the town including the renowned Berkhamsted Collegiate School for boys and girls of all ages. Preparatory schools in the vicinity include Beechwood Park, Westbrook Hay and Lockers Park.

The town boasts a variety of sporting and leisure activities including golf courses at Berkhamsted and nearby Ashridge, an excellent sports centre with indoor swimming pool and the surrounding Chiltern Hills and National Trust Estate consisting of some 65 sq miles of woodlands and downlands.
