" Stoney Lane House is a magnificent Georgian style country house designed and constructed in 1996 by award-winning architect Robert Adam, who has received international acclaim for his contribution to both traditional and progressive classical architecture. It is a faithful recreation of a classic country house of the Georgian period, and has all the elegant symmetry which is so typical of the era. The house is a traditional square plan arranged around a central staircase with glass roof allowing natural light to flood in. All four elevations are most appealing, in particular the front elevation, which features an imposing entrance portico with fluted columns.

The property is approached by two gated driveways, the first leading to the rear of the house which has a generous parking area and oak-framed double garage, whilst the second gated driveway arrives at the front of the house. There is a five bar gate leading into the paddock, where there are two stables. The formal gardens extend to about half an acre with the main area of lawn to the east side of the house. There is a sandstone patio immediately outside the kitchen for al fresco dining, well tended herbaceous borders and a variety of specimen trees. The boundaries to the garden are marked by mature hedges providing a high degree of privacy. To the far end of the lawn a further gateway leads into the paddocks, which extend to about five acres, is `L` shaped and adjoins the garden on two sides
