" This impressive and characterful family home in the Amersham Hill Conservation Area is attractively set back from the road with a carriage driveway and fabulous secluded gardens of towards half an acre. The houseโ€˜s proximity to a number of highly regarded schools (including Godstowe, The Royal Grammar School and Wycombe Abbey) makes this location extremely desirable. Built around 1926, the house itself has been constructed to exacting standards with fine quality materials and attention to detail. Today, it is a wonderful home offering well-proportioned rooms, high ceilings and period features. The kitchen, with a separate utility area is triple aspect and the drawing room is quadruple aspect whilst the dining room and family room both have attractive corner fireplaces and overlook the rear gardens. The dining room opens via a double, oak-panelled door into the drawing room to make an expansive entertaining area. Conveniently located en route to the kitchen, the exquisite butlerโ€˜s pantry and walk-in pantry retain original cupboards and marble shelving. The boot room and cloakroom complete the ground floor accommodation. Rising to the first floor, there are five bedrooms (one of which is currently used as a study) a family bathroom and a shower room. The largest bedroom has a fireplace and a bay window. There are two additional bedrooms on the second floor.
