" This wonderful family home is set in a private position on one of the more popular roads within this most sought after village.
The house has been modernised and updated sympathetically resulting in a series of well-lit and spacious rooms combining to provide usable entertaining and family accommodation.
There are practical and open living areas as well as formal entertaining spaces which combine with the extensive and generous bedroom accommodation on both the first and second floors to provide a massively desirable house. Of particular note are both the substantially proportioned drawing room with its French windows overlooking the garden and the kitchen/breakfast room which enjoys two bay windows on different aspects.
On the garden side of the house a terrace overlooks a sweeping lawn beyond which is an orchard area. In turn to one side of the orchard area are a series of garages, garden sheds and stores. Immediately to the west of the house is the principal garage which benefits not only from a superb workshop to the rear, together with a cloak room but also an extensive games/sitting room on the first floor. To the front of the house is the driveway, parking and turning area.

Situation
Longacre enjoys a convenient position close to the centre of the village of Chiddingfold. This picturesque village is home to three public houses, an excellent village store, pharmacy, coffee shop and butchers. To the west of the house is Haslemere with its mainline station and extensive range of local and high street shops and amenities. Godalming is a little over 6.5 miles to the north and the County Town of Guildford is about is about 11 miles away. For the commuter by train there is a choice of Haslemere or Witley Stations. The A3 can be accessed at Milford providing access to the M25 (J10 at Wisley). There is excellent road access to both Gatwick and Heathrow airports. Racing, golf, flying and motorsports at Goodwood to the south. Polo at Cowdray. Antiques, National Trust, concerts and festivals at Petworth. Schooling in the area is excellent with Charterhouse and Priors Field at Godalming, Aldro at Shackleford, Cranleigh School, St Catherine?s at Bramley, Royal School at Haslemere, Highfield & Brookham at Liphook and Bedales at Petersfield.
