" An attached character cottage, with far larger accommodation than is immediately apparent and a top floor principal bedroom suite enjoying far reaching views. Both the sitting and dining rooms have working fireplaces with the dining room being of sufficient proportions to enable it to be used as a family room, with sealed unit double glazed French windows leading out to the terrace and garden. An attractively fitted first floor bathroom serves the remaining two bedrooms. Off street car parking maybe able to be created by using the front garden which the neighbouring cottages have done.

Situation
The property is located in an established residential road leading from the Petworth Road alongside Chiddingfold Cricket Green and about a mile from the centre of the village. Chiddingfold itself is a very pretty Surrey village, famous for The Green, range of local shops (including two general stores and a post office), cricket green, The Crown Inn dating back to 13th Century, and the adjacent St Mary's Church. The nearest mainline station is at Witley, serving London Waterloo in about 51 minutes. More comprehensive amenities can be found in the neighbouring towns of Godalming and Haslemere, with Chiddingfold being surrounded by miles of open countryside. The village also provides a primary school (St Mary's), with a wide choice of state and private schools in both Godalming and Haslemere, together with King Edwards and Barrow Hill's in Witley, with Aldro at Shackleford.

The gardens are a particular feature of the cottage, full of interest and extending in all to some 200ft in depth at the rear with useful garden stores and an area of 'secret garden' at the far end, backed by a small stream with a belt of woodland beyond. There is an attractive area of front garden, which is protected from the road by a picket fence, with the garden simply arranged as rose trees with lavender etc. Some of the adjoining cottages have chosen to 'sacrifice' this area of garden and create off street car parking. To the rear there is a paved sun terrace, a separate sun deck, covered log store, outside tap and steps leading down onto a shaped lawn with stocked flower beds and borders.
